So what is kiwi versatility?!?!

kiwi versatility is another version of versatility that we sometimes play towards the end of the season. It's pretty similar to regular versatility with a number of differences (shown below).

...How is kiwi versatility different to the regular version?

1) Four 9 minute quarters instead of two 18 minute halves.

2) Court is split into two halves (instead of thirds). Attackers must stay in the attacking half and defenders must stay in the defensive half. Centre position can go everywhere except in the goal circle.

3) No rotation after each goal. Instead rotation is at quarter time. The only rotational requirement is that each team must have a different player at Centre position for each quarter.

4) Centre position may shoot a 2 point goal whilst in the attacking half (but not in the goal circle).

5) When a goal is scored, the conceding team start with the ball under their net (whilst touching the back wall). The initial pass must be received in their defensive half.

6) Game starts with a backwall pass. Each quarter starts with a backwall pass by whichever team had possession at the end of the previous quarter.
